You read English all day. Then the meeting starts.
You read technical documents in English without noticing you’re doing it. You write emails that are clearer than most of the ones you receive. Then someone asks you a direct question in a meeting, and the sentence you had ready won’t come out.
By the time you’ve arranged it properly in your head, the conversation has moved three points down the agenda. So you give the short version. The safe one, the one with no risk of a mistake in it. It’s accurate. It isn’t what you meant.
This isn’t a knowledge problem. Years of school English left you with the grammar and most of the words. What it didn’t give you was hours of speaking, in real time, to somebody listening closely enough to correct you.
Nobody mentions this to a senior professional in their thirties or forties. So it stays private, and after a while it starts to feel like a personal failing. It’s neither rare nor permanent. It responds to one thing only: speaking often, to someone whose job is to listen.
Why the lessons you’ve already tried haven’t fixed it
- A marketplace sells you an hour. Whoever has that hour free is who you get.
- A different teacher next month means introducing yourself again, explaining your job again, starting the same first conversation from the beginning.
- Nobody holds the thread. No one person can tell you what you were working on in March, or whether it’s improved since.
- A tutor found through a friend may be very good. You have no way to check the qualification, and nobody to raise it with if the lessons stop suiting you.
- An institute schedules around its own timetable and its own class sizes, and prices accordingly.
- None of this is dishonest. They’re businesses built to sell hours, and hours aren’t what you’re short of.

Stop when you like, and the rest is refunded
Prepaying a block to a school you found this evening is a real thing to ask of somebody. We know how it looks from your side. So here is what happens if it turns out not to suit you.
You stop, and we refund the lessons you haven’t taken, pro rata, to the card you paid with. There’s no notice to give and no fee for changing your mind. Nothing renews on its own either, so when a block ends it ends. You decide whether there’s another one, and if you say nothing, nothing happens.
- Any block, at any point in it. A week, a month or a term: the lessons still to come are refunded pro rata.
- Your Oxford coursebook is the one exception. Once its access code has been issued it can’t be handed back, so it isn’t refunded.
- If the teacher isn’t right for you, that’s a different question with a simpler answer. Tell us and we’ll move you to somebody else, with no charge for the change.

Your teacher
- A recognised UK teaching qualification: CELTA, DELTA or QTS.
- British, and teaching from within the United Kingdom.
- Experience with working adults in the situations you need English for: meetings, presentations, interviews, negotiation, or an examination if that’s your goal.
- Qualifications and references checked by us before any teacher is offered to anybody.
- You tell us what you need English for, roughly when your evenings are free, and whether you’d prefer to be taught by a man or a woman.
- Gender preference is settled first, before anything else is considered.
- We match you to one teacher: the one whose experience fits what you’ve asked for and who is free at the times you gave us. Usually the same day you message.
- Before your first lesson you’re told their name, the qualification they hold and when they took it, and where in the UK they teach from.
- If they turn out not to suit you, say so and we’ll move you to another teacher. No charge for the change, and no need to make a case for it.
- Otherwise the teacher you start with is the teacher you keep. If yours is ever ill or away, we tell you and offer another time. We don’t send you a stranger.

What stands above is the bar every teacher meets. Yours is named to you before your first lesson, with the qualification they hold and when they took it. Photographs and a line in each teacher’s own voice go here as they agree to them.
How it works
- You message usOn WhatsApp. Tell us what you need English for, roughly when you’re free in the evening, and whether you’d prefer a man or a woman to teach you. It takes a minute and commits you to nothing.
- We match you to a teacherUsually the same day. You’re told their name, their qualification, where in the UK they teach from, and the three evening times we can hold for you. Nothing is booked until you say yes to it.
- You startThree lessons a week, 55 minutes each, at fixed times in your evening, with the same teacher from the first lesson onwards. You pay for the block before it begins, your level is assessed in lesson one, and your Oxford coursebook comes after it.
- Lesson one is an assessment. Your teacher places you on the CEFR scale: A2, B1, B2 or C1. You’re told where you actually are, not where it would be pleasant to be told you are.
- Together you write down one goal, in a sentence specific enough to be checked later. Something like “chair the Sunday project call without writing a script first”. “Improve my English” is too vague to check, so it doesn’t get written down.
- Every lesson after that works towards that sentence, not through whichever textbook chapter comes next.
- At the end of each month your teacher writes you one page: what you worked on, what has moved, what hasn’t, and what next month does about it.
- When the goal is met you set the next one. If it isn’t moving, the page says so in as many words, and we change the approach. You shouldn’t have to be the one who notices.

Three lessons a week, 55 minutes each, on Microsoft Teams. One rhythm, and three ways of paying for it. Prices are set in Saudi riyals, so the exchange rate on the day doesn’t change what you pay.

If you’re paying by the week
- Your times are not held between weeks. A block keeps the same three evening slots for twelve lessons. Paying weekly takes next week’s times when you pay for next week.
- Payment comes before the first lesson of the week. There is no invoice to chase and nothing to cancel, because a week that is not paid for is simply not booked.
- The coursebook comes with your first block. Weeks bought one at a time run on the materials your teacher brings.
Two of you in the same lesson
A partner, a sibling, a friend or a colleague at a similar level, with a similar reason for learning. The second person is 25% off, and the teacher plans the lesson for both of you. Worth asking before you start. Arranging it at the beginning is much easier than adding someone later.

Your Oxford coursebook is included
Oxford digital access, at the level your teacher places you at, and it’s in the price. No second payment, no code to buy, nothing for you to go and order.
Your access is issued after your first lesson and not before. Until you’ve spoken to a teacher nobody knows which level is the right one, and the wrong book is worse than no book at all.
One exception: if you’re paying by the week, it comes with your first block.
Payment by international Visa or Mastercard. We cannot take mada. Each block is paid before it starts, and nothing renews on its own. When a block ends, you decide whether to take another.
If you stop part-way through, we refund the lessons you haven’t taken, pro rata. The one exception is your coursebook: once the access code has been issued it cannot be returned, so it is not refunded.

That’s why nothing here renews on its own, and why the lessons you haven’t taken come back to you if you stop.

Questions people ask before they message
Why does this cost more than an hour on a tutoring marketplace?
Because you’re not buying an hour. You’re buying one qualified British teacher who keeps your file, three fixed lessons a week, a level assessed properly, a written goal, a page each month on whether it’s moving, and the Oxford coursebook a marketplace tutor would tell you to go and buy for yourself. An hour on a marketplace is cheaper because nobody there is accountable for your month. If an hour a week with whoever was available were going to fix this, it would have fixed it by now.
Is there a smaller way to start than a month?
Yes. You can pay for a single week: 600 SAR for three lessons, with no commitment past that week. It’s there for people who don’t want to put down a month straight away. Two things to know. It is the dearest way to buy lessons, since four weeks bought one at a time comes to 2,400 SAR against 1,900 for a monthly block. And your evening times aren’t held between weeks, because a block holds them and a weekly booking doesn’t. Your coursebook comes with your first block.
Can I trust a company nobody has heard of?
You shouldn’t simply take our word for it, and we’re not asking you to. We are registered in the United Kingdom, Companies House number 10077035, which you can look up yourself in about a minute. We have no students yet and no testimonials, and we won’t pretend otherwise. What we can do is make leaving easy: stop part-way through a block and the lessons you haven’t taken are refunded pro rata, so the most you ever have at risk is the lessons you’ve already had.
I don’t have time for three lessons a week.
Three lessons of 55 minutes is under three hours a week, in your evening, from wherever you happen to be. Fewer than three tends not to work: speaking improves with frequency, and a single weekly lesson is largely spent recovering the ground lost since the last one. If three genuinely won’t fit your life at the moment, say so when you message us. We’ll tell you if this is the wrong month to start, and we won’t sell you lessons you can’t attend.
What if the teacher isn’t right for me?
Tell us and we’ll move you to someone else, without an argument and without a charge for the change. Say it early if you can, in the first week or two. Continuity is most of the value here, so change once, early, and then stay with one person. If you’d sooner stop altogether, the lessons you haven’t taken are refunded pro rata.
What happens if I travel?
Lessons are on Microsoft Teams, so they travel with you. A quiet room and a reasonable connection is enough. If your working day shifts while you’re away, tell your teacher and the times shift with it. If you’ll be away for a longer stretch, tell us before your next block starts so we can agree what to do, instead of you paying for lessons you can’t attend.
Will my card work?
We take international Visa and Mastercard. We cannot take mada, so if your card is mada-only you’ll need one that works internationally. Prices are set in Saudi riyals, 1,900 SAR for a month of twelve lessons, and each block is paid before it begins. Your bank may add its own charge for an international payment, which is worth asking them about before you start.
Do you teach teenagers?
We teach adults, and 16- and 17-year-olds whose parent or guardian arranges the lessons and pays for them. We don’t teach younger children.
Can two of us share a lesson?
Yes. A second person in the same lesson is 25% off: 3,325 SAR a month for the two of you together, against 3,800. It works when two people are at a similar level with a shared goal. If your levels are far apart, your teacher will say so after the first lesson, and we’ll sort out what to do about it. Two people at very different levels both get less out of the hour than they paid for.
What if I want to stop?
You stop. Nothing renews on its own, so at the end of a block you simply don’t take another, and there’s nothing to cancel. If you want to stop part-way through a block, tell us: the lessons you have not taken are refunded pro rata. The one thing not refunded is your coursebook, once its access code has been issued. A code cannot be handed back.
What if I go quiet for a week and miss lessons?
Life happens, and your teacher would sooner know than guess. Give as much notice as you can and they’ll move the lesson where the week allows. Lessons missed without notice can’t always be recovered, because the hour was held for you and nobody else could use it.
